Lorene Quade

Lorene Johanna Quade age 94 of Rogers City
passed away October 17, 2014 at Rogers City Tendercare.

She was born June 24, 1920 in Ocqueoc Township
to George and Hanna (Schalk) Curtis.

Lorene married Richard Wenzel on October 22, 1938; he passed away on
January 7, 1971, On May 13, 1972 she married Edwin Quade at St. John
Lutheran Church; he passed away on February 22, 2007. Mrs. Quade was
a member of St. John Lutheran Church, the Quilting for Missions Circle
and the Golden Agers, She enjoyed playing cards and bowling.

Mrs, Quade is survived by:
6 children, Ronald (Betty) Wenzel of Rogers City,
Terry Wenzel of Long Lake, Eugene (Eileen) Wenzel,
Richard (Patty) Wenzel, Jerry Wenzel, and Lila Wenzel
all of Rogers City;
16 grandchildren;
25 great grandchildren;
2 great-great grandchildren;
2 sisters, Carol Borrousch of Essexville and
Agnes Schaedig of Rogers City;
1 brother, John Curtis of Huron Beach.

She was also preceded in death by:
her parents, George and Hanna;
son, Mickey;
6 brothers and | sister.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home Monday from 3:00 until
8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on
Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church from 10:00 a.m. through time of
funeral at 11:00 a.m, with Pastor Eric Voigt officiating.

Interment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church.
