Louis Spens

Louis Frederick Spens age 81 of Ocqueoc passed away peacefully a McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey on January 9, 2025.

He was born in Rogers City to Paul and Emlyn Spens on February 19, 1943.

Louis was co-owner with his son, Jon, of L & J Spens Construction Company and was a co-broker along with his brother, Paul, of Spens Realty.

He is survived by his wife, Royce; two children, Jon Spens of Ocqueoc and Mae Nicole Spens of Wisconsin; two grandchildren, Mollie Mae Spens and Olivia Louise Spens; and a brother, Paul Spens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Emlyn.

A private celebration of life will take place during the summer of 2025.
