Louise McCafferty

Louise Ellen “Sissy” McCafferty age 92 of Brutus passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2026.

She was born April 20, 1934 in Moltke to Samuel and Mercedes (Kohsman) Treadwell.

Sissy didn’t have a mean bone in her body. She was loved and will be missed.

She is survived by three children, Steve (Kim) of Indian River, Theresa of Brutus and Laura of Rogers City; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly and Carol; a daughter-in-law, Cindy; a brother-in-law, Gary; and many nieces and nephews.

Sissy was preceded in death by four children, Mary, Chuck, Mark and Mike; a grandson, Jason; a sister, Garlyn and a brother, Sammy.

A private service will take place.
