Marcia Shampine

Marcia Sue Shampine age 81 of Cheboygan passed away at home on December 27, 2025.

She was born in Kalamazoo on November 5, 1944 to Francis and Dorothy (Couture) Shampine.

Marcia is survived by three sons, Chad (Kristin) Opper, Nathan Opper and Shane (Jean) Opper; four grandchildren, Maverick Opper, Carson Opper, Danica (Trenton) Brooks and Erica (Hampton) Dortch; three great grandchildren, Baylor, Charlotte and Mary; and seven siblings, Nova Lee, Marlene, Larry, Cheryl, Kim, Denise and Pete.

She was preceded in death by seven siblings, Rita, Sally, Richard, Thomas, David, Annette and Richard.

Marcia will be laid to rest privately at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
