Margaret Hopp

Margaret Theresa Hopp age 80 of Rogers City passed away at home on April 18, 2023.

She was born July 28, 1942 in Cheboygan to Emil and Ida Mae (McLean) Schoenith.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Wayne; two children, Penny (Gus) Neumann of Rogers City and Wayne (Trista) Hopp of Rogers City; and two sisters, June Grulke of Rogers City and Pat (Joe) Irwin of Cheboygan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and seven sisters.

On June 19, 1963 she married Wayne C. Hopp in Pontiac. Margaret was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and its choir. She was also a member of Rogers City VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Rogers City area TOPS and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross blood drives. Margaret enjoyed reading, working puzzles, trips to the casino and collecting trinkets and figurines from around the world.

Private graveside services will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
