Marilyn Hallett

Marilyn Jean Hallett age 72 of Fort Myers, Florida
went to be with her Lord and Saviour from her
home in Presque Isle on July 30, 2016 while
surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Flint on April 29, 1944
to Maurice and Mildred (Nichols) Mansfield.

Marilyn graduated from Flint’s Southwestern High School in 1962. On
June 30, 1962 she married Kenneth Hallett at South Baptist Church in
Flint, Following her retirement in 2007 as a court recorder for the 67th
District Court in Genesee County, she and Ken moved to Ft. Myers.
Marilyn enjoyed singing and playing the piano, She was the pianist at
three different churches throughout her life. She loved to read and do
crossstitch and enjoyed making things for her grandchildren, Marilyn
loved to travel and take cruises with her family,

Marilyn is survived by:
her husband, Kenneth;
3 children, Brian Hallett of Birch Run,
Kendra (Greg) Tuscher of Presque Isle and
Jeff (Julic) Hallett of Lennon;
12 grandchildren, Courtney Hendricks, Jessica (Brandon) Sargent,
Logan Hallett, Benjamin Hogendyk, Sarah Reeves,
Katie Reeves, Skylar Hallett, Samuel Tuscher,
Cassie Hallett, Joel Tuscher, Sawyer Hallett and
Matthew Hallett;
2 great grandchildren, Marley Sargent and Zane Sargent;
3 siblings, Glen Mansfield, Dale Mansfield and Sherrie Lenzi.
Marilyn is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Sherri Hallett of Vassar.

She was preceded in death by:
a son, Scott Hallett and a daughter-in-law, Kim Hallett and
grandson-in-law, John Hendricks,

Friends may gather at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 6434 Richfield Road,
Flint, Michigan 48506 on Saturday, September 10th from 10:00 a.m.
through time of her memorial service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Marilyn’s family
for a charity to be selected later.
