Marilyn McOsker

1931 - 2021

Marilyn Jean McOsker age 89 of Rogers Township passed away on March 28, 2021 at A & A Adult Living Center in Bloomfield Hills.

After graduating from Cooley High school Marilyn began a career at GM Tech Center as an operator. It was during this time George, working for Fisher body asked her out after only hearing her voice. George said after seeing her the first time he knew she was the girl for him, and for the next 60 years he continued to call her “My Girl.” Marilyn took great pride in her skills as a dressmaker and pattern drafter. To George’s pride she didn’t leave the house without looking a ten and never without her lipstick. Following their move to Rogers City, Marilyn and George joined civic organizations and the GM retirees’ group. Later, on her own she went to monthly lunches with the group from Beach Road.
