Marilyn Thompson

Marilyn E. Thompson age 91 of Grant Township
passed away peacefully at home with her family
at her side on January 29, 2019.

She was born November 13, 1927 in Adrian
to Harold and Cora (Curtis) Cole.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by:
her husband of 70 years, Eldene;
daughter, Pamela Sue (Skip) Hanna of Clayton;
son, Thomas E. Thompson of Cheboygan;
two grandsons, Kelly Lee (Kristie) Gahn and Jason T. Thompson;
two great granddaughters, Michaela Gahn and Alisha Ruth Gahn;
three sisters, Sondra Fuller, Sharon Martin and Judy Smith;
one sister-in-law, Donna Lee Jarrett.

Marilyn and Eldene owned and managed the Aloha Store on Mullet Lake
for many years. Following retirement, they traveled to Texas and worked
as commercial fishermen, They moved back to Northern Michigan in
1988. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and playing
Euchre every Tuesday.
