Melanie Glentz

Melanie Lynn Glentz age 40 of Sheridan
passed away at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids
on January 12, 2017.

She was born August 21, 1976 in Onaway
to Richard and Faye (Ode) Glentz.

Melanie graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 2002. She worked for
Mid-Michigan Industries for several years, She enjoyed music, especially
the 80°s music, visits with her family in Rogers City and outings such as
shopping and dining out.
Melanie is survived by:
her mother, Faye (Michael) Plume of Rogers City;
2 sisters, Mindy Glentz of Rogers City and
Kayla Plume of Clinton Township;
3 nieces, Elly and Zoey Glentz and Jocelyn Bochmer.

She was preceded in death by:
her father, Richard Glentz;
grandmother, Dorothy Glentz;
niece, Tiffany Williams;
nephew, Drayden Bochmer.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, January 21st
from 3:00 p.m. through time of her service at 4:00 p.m. with
Pastor Jeff Ryan officiating.

A special thank you to her first foster family in
Mt, Pleasant, Tom and Deanna Curtis whom she
lived with for 20 years and her current foster
family in Sheridan, Brian and Ruth Ann Stevens
where Melanie has lived for the last 6 years

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Melanie’s family
for a charity to be selected later.
