Michael Erickson

Michael John Erickson age 64 of Rogers City,
passed away December 18, 2012 at
Alpena Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 16, 1948 in Alpena
to Edmund and Barbara (Shea) Erickson.

Mike graduated from Rogers City High School in 1968. On June 28, 1969 he married
Joan Marie Centala at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Mike retired from Calcite in
2009 after 42 years of employment. He will be remembered as a devoted family man.

Mr. Erickson is survived by:
his wife, Joan;
4 children, Todd (Philip Rivera) of Ferndale, Nicole (Chad) Kandow of Kalamazoo,
Michael (Rachel) of Petoskey, and Eric (Marisa) of Rogers City;
7 grandchildren, Christopher, Katharine, Michael, Ella, Evin, Cora, and Liliana;
father, Edmund (Esther) of Rogers City;
siblings, Rick (Bev) of Cheboygan, Harry (Sue) of Davison,
Janet (Gordon) Kube of Traverse City, and Kris of Sault Ste. Marie;
step-father, Ron Smith of Evart.

He was preceded in death by:
his mother, Barbara Smith and
grandson, Gabriel Erickson

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday, December 21st from 3:00
until 8:00 p.m. with rosary at 6:30 followed by the parish wake service at 7:00 p.m.
Visitation will resume on Saturday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m,
through time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Bob Malloy officiating.
