Michael Field

Michael Patrick Field age 69 of Indian River passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife on December 12, 2025.

He was born in Chicago to James and Sophia (Christian) Field on November 27, 1956.

Michael graduated from Lincoln Park High School then served 6 years in the United States Navy. In June of 2014 he married Maryann Basore in Indian River. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, swimming and Bowling.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maryann; a daughter, Maizy (Jaxon); a grandson, Asher; step-children, Angela (Tim) Buaghn, Roger (Sasha) Ormsbee and Jessica Goebel; eight step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; a brother, Chuck Field and a sister, Laura (Pat) Dohoney.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sophia; a brother, James Field and a sister, Louise Field.
