Nelson Stockwell

Nelson Roy Stockwell age 83 of Onaway passed away February 12, 2020 at Munson Medical Center.

He was born June 7, 1936 in Deford, Michigan to Clarence and Lucy (Cooper) Stockwell.

Nelson is survived by his wife, Faye; two children, Dean (Kelli) Stockwell of Onaway and Kelly (Marvin) Nash of Brutus; four grandchildren, Misty Kimball, Brock (Lauren) Kimball, Chelsey Kimball and Justin (Allie Burritt) Stockwell; sister, Ruth Ann Vermilya of Onaway; brother, Everett (Gail) Stockwell of Wixom; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Stockwell of Onaway.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred (Anita) Stockwell and Stanley Stockwell; and a brother-in-law, Ned Vermilya.

Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice in Nelson’s memory.

Beck Funeral Home will announce the date for his celebration of life in the spring.
