Nick Cadieux
1945 - 2021Nick Ray Cadieux age 75 of Hillman passed away March 16, 2021 at home.
He was born July 17, 1945 in Lincoln, NE to Raymond and Elsie (Guy) Cadieux.
Nick graduated in 1963 from Hillman High School. He married Sherry Brandt on July 3, 1965 at the LDS Church in Alpena. They moved to Pontiac for several years, where Nick worked for Pontiac Motors. They moved back to Hillman to open Cadieux’s market and purchased the Hillman Sports Center. He worked at the Montmorency Road Commission, retiring in 2005. Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring muscle cars. He was the founding father of Wheels Car Club in Hillman.
Mr. Cadieux is survived by his wife, Sherry; son, Brent Layne (Theresa) Cadieux of Stockbridge; daughter, Shannon Renè (John LaFleche) Cadieux of Hillman; two grandchildren, Trevor Layne Cadieux and Jillian Raye Cadieux; sister, Debra Lynne Koenig; and niece, Jamie Marie (Peter) Lis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond an Elsie.
