Norma Crawford

Norma Jean Crawford age 80 of Rogers City
passed away at home on April 5, 2015.

She was born November 17, 1934 in Detroit
to Eldon and Maude (Neely) Cornett,

Norma graduated from New Haven High School in 1953, On September 17,
1955 she married Harvey W. Crawford in New Haven. They moved to
Rogers City in 1972. Mrs, Crawford was employed
at the Rye Insurance Agency in Rogers City for
more than 20 years, Following her retirement she
worked at Jean’s Gifts, the Rogers City Chamber
office and volunteered at the Presque Isle County
Historical Museum and Hospice of Michigan.
Norma operated a seamstress business in
Rogers City called The Stitchery.

Mrs, Crawford is survived by:
her husband, Harvey;
son, Greg (Shari) Crawford of Rogers City;
daughter, Brenda (Bob) Hughes of Rogers City;
6 grandchildren, Joshua Crawford, Derek Crawford, Dawn (Ryan) Minton,
Amy Hughes, Jessica Hughes and Brianna Hughes;
great granddaughter, Kyley Hughes;
brother, Eldon (Diane) Cornett;
2 sisters, Connie (Fred) Kark and Arlene Novak.

She was preceded in death by a son, Tim and a sister, Barbara.

Private graveside services will take place at the Albert Township Cemetery
near Lewiston.
