Orville McDonald

Orville “Butch” McDonald age 73 of Onaway
passed away April 13, 2017 at Hospice House
in Cheboygan.

He was born August 23, 1943 in Petoskey
to Adrian and Rosetta (Nickerson) McDonald

Butch retired from General Motors in 1990, and then he and his wife
Bonita moved to Onaway. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage, hunting,
fishing, working in his garden, camping, and was always up for a game
of cards, Family will miss his homemade cider and maple syrup.

Butch is survived by:
2 children, Karen (Darryl) Derryberry of Metamora and
Jeffrey (Julic) McDonald of Waterford;
5 grandchildren; D.J., Amanda, Katelin, Jordan, and Makenna;
5 great grandchildren; Gabrielle, Xander, Westen, Brooklyn, and Makayla;
3 sisters, Laura Zinke, Emma Schleben, and Norma Brigham;
1 brother, Archie McDonald; and
special friend, Lorinda Purdom,

He was preceded in death by
his wife, Bonita;
siblings, Lawrence, Lavoy, Thelma, Adrian, Ellen, and Stanley.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, April 22nd from
1:00 p.m, through time of his memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with
Elder Karen McDonald officiating,

In licu of flowers, memorials may be given to Vital Care Hospice House
in Cheboygan in memory of Butch McDonald
