Pamela Jo Carter age 70 of Cheboygan passed away at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey on October 2, 2024.

She was born in Pontiac to Clayton and Adelia (Stukas) Bell on September 22, 1954.

On October 1, 1992 she married Delmar Carter in Cheboygan. Pam enjoyed shopping for Hancock Haven, as well as cooking and baking. Her biggest enjoyment came from spoiling the grand and great grandchildren.

Pam is survived by six children, John (Sara) Carter of Cheboygan, Al (Tina) Carter of Cheboygan, Vicki (James) McLaughlin  of Cheboygan, David (Genny) Carter of Cheboygan, Cindy (Jeff) Doss of Alanson and Roger (Jenn) Duffiney of Cheboygan; 19 grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Justine, Haley (Michael), Brandon (Jessica), Kaylee (Josh), Alex, Charlie Ann (Joe), Maryn (Megan), Hunter Joli, Jeffery, Zephrin, Gabe, Hannah and Riley; 11 great grandchildren, Evan, Hope, Dominic, Stella, Lawson, Josiah, Ezekiel, Ethan, Israel, Jade and Liam, with two more on the way; a sister, Lori Bell of Cheboygan; a brother, Jack (Ruth) Bell of Cheboygan; a sister-in-law, Rose (Ron Feldman) Adkins of Clinton Township and Jean Carter of Pellston; and brother-in-law, Lee Sidell of Pellston; and two wonderful friends, Bonnie and Ardis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Adelia; her husband, Delmar; a sister, Barb (Dave) Hatt and a brother, Clayton (Della) Bell; brother-in-law, Richard Carter; a sister-in-law, Pearl Sidell.

A celebration of life will take place on October 26th at Aloha Township Hall from 1-3 p.m.
