Patricia Florence Kortman age 87 of Rogers City
passed away July 6, 2015, at Turning Brook
Retirement Center in Alpena,

She was born October 12, 1927, in Sault Ste. Marie
to Anthony and Ann (Pochavage) Montero,

On February 3, 1951, she married Wilferd “Jiggs” Kortman in
Sault Ste. Marie. Mrs, Kortman was a member of St, Ignatius Catholic
Church, its Rosary Society and the Daughters of Isabella Martha Mary
Circle.

She is survived by:
3 loving daughters, Michaele (Thomas) Bannow of Traverse City,
Susan (Jerry) Grambau of Posen and
Laurie (Patrick) Purol of Posen;
6 grandchildren, Kelly (Mark) Purcell, David Bannow,
Nicole (Ty) Pietsch-Jensen, Corey Hentkowski,
Sarah Purol and Jonathan (Katie) Purol;
6 great grandchildren;
1 brother, Bernard Montero;
4 sisters, Jeannine Salves of Minnesota, Eileen Gogolakis of Minnesota,
Juanita Goodermuth of Arizona and
Sharon (Tom) Dailey of Warren;
sister-in-law, Patsy Montero.

Mrs. Kortman was preceded in death by:
her husband, Jiggs;
2 brothers, Jimmy and Francis;
2 sisters-in-law, Cathy Montero and MaryLou Montero;
3 brothers-in-law, Dennis Salves, Terry Goodermuth and Jim Gogolakis.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 until
8:00 p.m. where the Rosary Society will recite the rosary at 6:30
followed by the parish wake service at 7:00 p.m, Visitation will
continue at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m.
through time of Mass at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Sylvestre Obwaka officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery,
Memorials may be given to Michigan Parkinson Foundation,
