Patricia Koss

Patricia Ann Koss age 85 of Alpena passed away peacefully at home on October 25, 2022.

She was born June 3, 1937 in Rogers City to Charles and Clara (Siecinski) Bellmore.

Mrs. Koss is survived by six children, Gene (Kathy) Koss of Alpena, Lynn (Gary) Wozniak of Florida, Gail (Don) Brado of Lachine, Joseph (Kim) Koss of Brownstown, Ann (Russ) McCann of Midland, and Michael Koss of Romulus; 10 grandchildren, James, Jennifer and Bill (Danni) Brado, Nick and Eric (Chelsea) Koss, Russell Wozniak, Amanda (Nate) Breemer and Raymond (Andrea) Lingle, Chris and Jessica Koss; five great grandchildren, Miya and Joey Brado, Jackson Koss, Kara and Emily Lingle; a sister, Blanche Buczkowski of Rogers City and a brother, Anthony (Beverly) Bellmore of New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norvel; son, Russell; granddaughter, Shannon Wozniak; two brothers, Robert and James.

On February 12, 1955 she married Norvel Koss at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. She worked as a CNA in Rogers City and Alpena for many years. Following retirement, Pat and Norvel enjoyed spending winters in Coco Beach, Florida. She was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, its Rosary Sodality and the Daughters of Isabella. Pat volunteered at the Posen Potato Festival for many years. She enjoyed basket weaving, quilting and crocheting, many of her creations were donated to those in need.

Friends may visit at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Monday, October 31^st where the St. Casimir Rosary Sodality will recite the Rosary at 9:45, visiting will continue through time of her Mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.

Inurnment will take place at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Michigan or St. Casimir Catholic Church in memory of Patricia Koss.
