Patricia Thornton

Patricia Dawn Thornton age 83 of Cheboygan passed away August 27, 2026.

She was born July 5, 1943 in Garden City to Harold and Patricia Hershey.

Patricia was a “Super Mom”. She made the best No Bake Cookies, delicious Wonder Bread sandwiches (with butter) and she created the most beautiful wedding dresses for her family and friends. The best part of life on earth for her was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by four children, John (Carlene) Brown, Anita (Ken) Ginop, Kathy (Ron) Hauser and Judy (Mike) Bisanz; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Patricia; husband, Virgil; two brothers, William and Harold and a her sister, Barbara Compton.

The date and time for her memorial service at Northshore Community Church in Cheboygan will be posted when her arrangements are finalized with the Beck Funeral Home.
