Phyllis A. Peltz age 77 of Rogers City
passed away February 25, 2009 at home

She was born June 13, 1931 in Rogers City to Elmer & Amanda (Berg) Wenzel

On January 15, 1949 she married Wallace E. Peltz at St. John Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting afghans, working in her garden and spending
time with her grandchildren. Phyllis was a member of St. James Lutheran Church
in Moltke.

She is survived by:
5 children, Linda Peltz of Rogers City, Cynthia Peltz of Rogers City,
Jerri Lynn (Richard) Boyd of Rogers City, Jennie (Paul) Lewandowski of Davison,
and Robert (Josic) Peltz of Rogers City
11 grandchildren, Amy Kamyszek, Elizabeth Seefeldt, Matthew Seefeldt, J.J. Banks,
Jason (Nicki) Centala, Nancy (Adam) Grybauskas, Dustin Peltz, Travis Peltz,
Emma Lewandowski, and Lily Lewandowski
6 great grandchildren, Andrew, Hunter, Madison, Ethan Wallace, Isaiah, and Braylon
2 sisters, Barb (Mike) Peltz of Rogers City and Corlic (Lec) Rogers of Detroit
2 brothers, Jerry (Emmy) Wenzel of Rogers City and Chet (Alice) Wenzel of
Grand Lake
special friend, Leonard Parsons of Rogers City

She was preceded by:
husband, Wallace on August 21, 1997
2 granddaughters, Cassandra and Missy

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday, (Feb 27th) from 1:00 p.m.
until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.. Visitation will resume at
St. James Lutheran Church in Moltke on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of
funeral at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Waldemar Gies officiating.

Burial will take place in St. James Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. James Church or Hospice of the Sunrise Shore in
memory of Phyllis Peltz.
