Randy Ruprecht

Randy William Ruprecht, age 55 of Cheboygan passed away Friday September 24, 2021 at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord.

He was born in Mt. Clemens on April 26, 1966 to Neal and Carol (Redloske) Ruprecht.

Randy is survived by his sons, Tyler (Caitlin Hengesbach) Ruprecht of Grand Rapids and Justin Ruprecht of Cheboygan; his brother Gary (Kristy) Ruprecht; his sister Judy Sabon and nephews, Bret, Kevin and Jason Meredith.

He was preceded in death by his parents Neal and Carol as well as his brother in law Bob Sabon.

Randy worked as a mechanic and salesman at Krug Ford in Dearborn and Cheboygan. He then went on to own his own Auto Sales and Repair Business. Randy enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as Michigan Football and the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed working on cars and he was extremely proud of his sons.

Randy’s family would like to thank Otsego Memorial Hospital staff for their excellent care and compassion in caring for Randy. A very warm thank you to all of his friends and family that reached out during this difficult time.

Friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church on Friday, October 8^th from 10 a.m. through time of his memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Duane Wachowiak officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St Thomas Food Pantry in memory of Randy Ruprecht.
