Rex Pope

Rex Pope, We lost a great man on September 9, 2023. He was a loving and devoted husband, a sublime father, a friend of many and a brother of few. Rex Edward Pope has transitioned to the next life as a result of a lengthy and courageous battle with prostate cancer. He is survived by adoring wife of 41 years, Jeanette Pope; his best friend and son, Joshua Pope; his sister, Suzanne Foster, and brother, Robert Pope.

Born in Onaway, Michigan, he was raised in Millersburg, Michigan by Neil and Ruth Crevier on a small homesteaded farm. He joined the Airforce at the age of seventeen, where he first found his livelong profession, Land Surveying. After college at Ferris State University, he later owned and operated Lakeshore Land Surveying for 25 years in Ludington, Michigan. He was an avid fisherman, and hunter, where he met and made memories with many of his good friends.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, charities may be directed to Mason County P.A.W.S.
