Rhoud Piechan

Rhoud Gary Piechan age 86 of Belknap Township passed away at home on August 23, 2022.

He was born February 27, 1936 in Belknap Township to Orville and Vivian (Kortman) Piechan.

Rhoud is survived by two children, Cheryl (Jim Gillespie) Gustafson of Kalkaska and Gary (Kim) Piechan of East Jordan; five grandchildren, Gunnar (Taletha) Gustafson, Jared Piechan, Ayla (Dillon) Pinney, Gage (fiancée, Gabby Miner) Piechan and Zach Piechan; three great grandchildren, Wyatt, Kristel and Peyton; and a sister, Deanna (Jim) Spencer of Alpena.

He was preceded in death by parents, Orville and Vivian; step-mother, Pearl Piechan; his first wife, Gertrude; his second wife, Margaret; and three brothers, Dennis, Leon and infant, Larry.

Rhoud was employed at Stone Port for over 42 years. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed spending time and hunting with his grandchildren and taking family hunting trips to Canada.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday, August 26^th from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Metz from 1 p.m. through time of his funeral at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Clayton officiating.

Burial will take place at Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Hawks.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
