Richard Fichter

Richard Carl Fichter age 86 of Wolverine passed away at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey on December 19, 2022.

He was born December 12, 1936 in Detroit to Richard and Emma (Webber) Fichter.

Richard is survived by his wife, Mary; four children, Ilona Feys of Sterling Heights, Gabriella (Bill) Fassbender of New Baltimore, Richard Fichter of Washington and Andrea (Steve) Mills of Emmett; five grandchildren, Marc, Rachel (Brandon), Kami (fiancé, Mike) and Andrew; and Ethan; six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Erich who died in the Korean War.

Richard was an avid hunter who loved life. He had the biggest heart of anyone Mary knew.

Private services will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be given to McLaren Hospice in memory of Richard Fichter.
