Richard Green

Richard J, Green age 84 of Alpena
passed away April 6, 2016 at Tendercare Alpena.

He was born March 7, 1932 in Posen.

Dick served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was
stationed in Hawaii. On May 8, 1988, he married Evelyn
Jakubiak-Dziesinski at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Wolf Creek.
He retired as an electrician from Stoneport in 1991. Dick enjoyed hunting
and playing cards.
He is survived by:
his wife, Evelyn;
3 children, Patrick (Donna) Green of Alpena,
Scott (Deborah) Green of Hewitt, Texas and
Karl (Cheri) Green of Grayling;
16 grandchildren;
19 great grandchildren;
2 stepchildren; Marlene (Harry) Vanderwyst of Alpena and
Dennis (Lori) Dziesinski of Alpena;
5 siblings, Norvel (Pat) Koss of Posen, Dominic (Janet) Krajniak of Posen
Robert (Edna) Haller of Romulus,
Anthony (Karen) Roznowski of Posen and
Wayne Koss of Posen;
step daughter-in-law, Brenda Dziesinski; and
sister-in-law, Vivian Koss of Lachine.

Richard was preceded in death by:
his parents, Stanley and Esther;
brother, Earl Koss and
stepson, Kris Dziesinski,

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday, (April) 8th) from
4:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m, Visitation will
resume on Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church in Hawks from 10:00 a.m.
through time of funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Jack D. Ferguson
officiating. Posen VFW Post 7804 will offer a military tribute at the
conclusion of church services,

Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Posen
in memory of Richard Green,
