Richard Hein

Richard “Hoss” Hein age 73 of Metz,
passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011
at Alpena Regional Medical Center,

He was born July 17, 1938 in Alpena
to Herbert A. and Alice B. (Richard) Hein.

Dick was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Metz, Fraternal Order
of Eagles and the Moose Lodge in Alpena. He retired as a Wheelsman in 1996
from United States Steel – Great Lakes Fleet after 36 years of service.

Hoss enjoyed hunting and spending time on his ponds.

Mr. Hein is survived by:
his brother, James (Donna) Hein of Alpena;
sister, Jennifer (Robert) Arndt of Saginaw;
many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by:
parents, Herbert in 1995 and Alice in 2000;
sister, Carolyn Bartosh in 2007

A memorial mass is set for 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 4th at
St. Dominic Catholic Church with Fr. Greg McCallum and Sr, Rita Epple officiating.
Friends may gather from 10:30 a.m. through time of mass. A luncheon will follow
in the parish hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Dominic Catholic Church
in memory of Richard Hein,
