Robert Ohlrich

1940 - 2011

Robert L. Ohlrich age 70 of Presque Isle
passed away at Tendercare Health Center in Rogers City
on August 29, 2011 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. W

He was born October 8, 1940 in Rogers City
to Louis and Clara (Schalk) Ohlrich

Bob graduated from Rogers City High School in1958. He served in the United States
Army during the Vietnam War. On July 17, 1965 he married Betty E. Bruder at
Immanuel Lutheran Church in Moltke. Mr. Oblrich retired from Ford Tractor in 1994
and moved to Grand Lake in 1999. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at his
hunting camp.

Bob is survived by:
wife, Betty;
son, Brad of Bloomington, Indiana;
daughter, Bridgette (Alan) Harding of Rochester Hills;
the apple of his eye, granddaughter, Brooklynn Harding;
4 brothers, Kenneth of Westland, William (Jo) of Tennessee, Gary (Lynn) of Gladwin,
and Ronald (Connie) of Rogers City;
4 sisters, Doris Sweeney of East Point, Eunice Spayth of Washington,
Shirley (Tom) Rose of Florida, and
Sandra (Rueben) Wojtaszek of Rogers City.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Virgilene Le Veck and Arlene Flowers.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m.
with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at
Immanuel Lutheran Church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. through time of funeral at
11:00 a.m. with Pastor Eric Voigt officiating. Rogers City VFW will offer a military
tribute during graveside services.

Interment will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hospice of the Sunrise Shore
or Hospital Hospitality House of Saginaw in memory of Robert Ohlrich.
