Roger Duffiney

Roger Wayne “Big Duff” Duffiney, age 64 of Cheboygan
passed away June 30, 2012 in Cheboygan

He was born was born May 26, 1948 in Cheboygan
to George and Marion (Fortune) Duffiney

Roger was an Elder with the Sault Ste. Marie Band of the Chippewa Indians. He was
an auto mechanic and also drove tow truck in Cheboygan for many years.

Big Duff enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his children and
grandchildren. He and Shelly were married on July 11, 1992 in Cheboygan.

Mr. Duffiney is survived by:
his wife, Shelly;
3 children, Cindy Marie (Jeff) Doss of Alanson,
Roger Oliver Duffiney of Cheboygan, and
Jason James (Alli) Lovelly of North Dakota;
8 grandchildren, Jeffy, Gabe, McKayla, Joey, Zephrin, Chauncey, Hannah, and Devin;
half-brother, Eddie (Katie) Kasprzak of New York;
2 sisters, Nancy (Ken) Fader of Lachine and Carol Duffiney of Cheboygan;
sister-in-law, Barb Duffiney of Cheboygan;
1 wife, Pamela Carter of Cheboygan;
many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by:
his parents, George and Marion;
brother, George

A Memorial Gathering is scheduled for Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the
Benton Township Hall from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m.

Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given the Duffiney family or
the Cheboygan County Humane Society.
