Roger Faust

Roger LeRoy Faust age 92 of Rogers City passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026.

He was born March 28, 1934, in Massillon, Ohio to Homer and Grace Faust.

Roger earned his bachelor’s degree from “The” Ohio State University, then earned his master’s degree in education from Eastern Michigan University. On June 28, 1974, he married Irene Laskowski in Westland. He retired from Garden City Public Schools in 1992 after 38 years of employment. Roger loved fast cars, motorcycles and spending time on the lake fishing. He was a member of the Presque Isle County Sportsman’s Club.

He is survived by his wife, Irene “Renee”; three children, Eric, Randy and Tania (Jake) Shore; five grandchildren, Derek, Mitchell, Brian, Tiffany and Jacob; three great grandchildren, Brandon, Thavin and Keenya.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Grace and a brother, Roland.
