Ronald Barrette

Ronald James Barrette born August 29, 1944, passed away January 15, 2025 peacefully at home with his family surrounding him.

Ron was an avid hunter but his favorite pastime was watching his two great grandchildren Harper and Grayson and going to the Senior Center with friends.

Ron is survived by his wife Shar, son Ron and his wife Tracy, daughter Shani and her husband Beau Johnson, grandchildren Taylor and her husband Mike Hecko, Andrew, Austin, and Aurora Johnson, and his great grandchildren Harper and Grayson Hecko.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations sent to the Cheboygan County Council on Aging-Cheboygan Location.

The family will remember him privately.
