1931 - 2010Rose Mary Hincka age 78 of Posen
passed away July 10, 2010 at Golden Beach Manor
She was born November 10, 1931 in Metz
to Stephen and Pelagia (Chalupniczak) Lijewski
When Rose was only 2 years old her mother passed away. Rose turned to the
Blessed Virgin Mary for her support and guidance. On July 1, 1950 she married
Edward Hincka at St. Casimir Catholic Church. Rose was a hard worker all her life,
caring for her family and the family farm. In the late 1970’s she was diagnosed with
Myasthenia Gravis, but she did not let this slow her down. In 1982 she became
known as “The Apple Lady”, selling apples to hunters from all across the state.
She is survived by:
5 children, Laurie (Bob) Zielaskowski of Posen,
Mary (Stan) Marculewicz of Farmington Hills, Edward Jr. (Sue) of Posen,
Kenny of White Lake, and Alan (Mindy) of Hawks;
22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren;
1 sister, Martha Lonchar
Rose was preceded in death by:
husband, Edward in 2000;
daughter, Debbie Finch in 2004;
son, James in 2007;
4 brothers, John, Chester, David, and Florian;
1 sister, Irene Gregory.
Friends may visit the Beck Funeral Home on Monday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m.
where the rosary will be recited at 6:30. Visitation will resume at
St. Casimir Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of mass at
11:00 a.m. with Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.
Interment will take place at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery
Memorials may be given to Myasthenia Gravis Association,
Hospice of the Sunrise Shore, or St. Casimir Catholic Church
in memory of Rose Hincka.
