Ruth Louise Wenzel age 88 of Rogers City
passed away September 2, 2015 at Golden Beach Manor. Bi:

She was born February 13, 1927 in Belknap Township
to Paul and Elna (Fleming) Sellke.

Ruth married Elmer Wenzel on May 18, 1946 at St. Michaels Lutheran
Church, She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and teaching
them how to swim,

Mrs, Wenzel is survived by:
her children, Sharon (Jim) Haske, Mary (Allan) Grulke, and Gary Wenzel;
10 grandchildren, Kristy (Dave) Klock, Kelly Blair,
Jason (Lesley) Ostrander, Kathy (Brian) Boulis,
Mandy (Jason) Borders, Jim (Angie) Haske,
Marcella (Robert) Wertman, Lance (Katie) Wenzel,
Gail Grulke, and Steve (Jenny) Grulke;
28 great grandchildren, Pat (Shea) Blair; Emily Gilbert, Cassie Blair;
Nicole, Austin, and Justin Ostrander, Jacob,
Grace, Cole, Anna, and Brynley Boulis; Caden
and Kennedy Borders; Robbie, Ethan, Gabbi, and
Noah Haske; Isabella and Sophia Wenzel; Lexia
and Xavier Wertman; Halee Witkowski; Corey,
Emily, Natalie, Haley, Dylan, and Sierra Grulke;
1 great great grandchild, Camden Blair;
1 sister, Lois Lietzow;
2 brothers, Elroy (Donna) Sellke and Donald (Deanna) Sellke;
2 step sisters, Arlis Hardies and Marion (Ed) Klockow; and
3 step brothers, Renwood (Sandy), Roger, and Harlow (Lynn) Hardies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer;
parents, Paul and Elna;
step dad, Elmer Hardies;
and a great granddaughter, Tia Rae Grulke.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 until
8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on
Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church from 10:00 a.m. through time of
funeral at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Eric Voigt officiating.

Memorials can be made to St. John Lutheran Church or School
and Hospice of the Sunrise Shore in memory of Ruth.
