Sally Lovelly

Sally J. Lovelly age 80 of Cheboygan
passed away peacefully at McLaren Northern
Michigan Hospital in Petoskey on September 11, 2017
while surrounded by her family.

She was born June 11, 1937 in Cheboygan
to Donald and Marvel (LaLonde) Landon. Marvel passed away
when Sally was an infant, Don married Myrlea Place who raised her.

Sally was a graduate of Cheboygan Area Schools Class of 1955. She
married her high school sweetheart, James Lovelly on January 7, 1956.
She was a wife and mother. Raised her children and worked until
retirement, Retiring at age of 62 to enjoy her winters in Florida with her
husband James. They enjoyed walking every day and having tea at
McDonalds with her friends year round.

She is survived by:
her son James (Barbie) Lovelly Jr.;
two daughters, Kitty Goldizen and Shelly Duffiney;
grandchildren, Richard and Carrie Lovelly, Jason Lovelly,
Zachary and Samantha Lovelly, Michael Duffin,
Cindy and Jeff Doss, Roger and Jen Duffiney,
Adam and Destinee Goldizen, Andrea Goldizen and
Anthony Goldizen;
great grandchildren, Isiah, Brandon, McKayla, Joey, Chauncey, Devin,
Gabe, Hannah, Riley, Zephrin, Jeffery, Tori, Trey, Autume
and Dallas;
sister, Karen (Bernie) Schramm,
brother, Donald (Twyla) Landon;
sister-in-law, Sharon Ingalsbe; and
several nieces and nephews.

Sally was preceded in death by:
her husband of 61 years, James Lovelly;
son Richard Lovelly;
granddaughter Ambar Lovelly;
son-in-law, Roger Duffiney;
parents, Donald, Myrlea and Marvel;
sister, Leah Place;
brothers-in-law, Glen Place and William Ingalsbe;
sisters-in-law, Nancy McDonald, Bonnie Lovelly, Rosemary Lovelly and
Carol Worley;
nephew, Gene Place; and
niece, Cindy Ingalsbe.

A memorial gathering will take place at the Lovelly family home
on Sunday, September 24th from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a hospice of your choice.
