Samantha Rohn

Samantha Jo Rohn, known as Sammie, age 17 of Onaway passed away on May 23, 2020 in a car accident in Case Township.

She was born November 1, 2002 in Cheboygan. Sammie was the daughter of Ashlee Arkwood and sister to Gabrielle.

Sammie was raised in Onaway and was a member of the Senior Class of 2020 at Onaway High School. She was planning on attending college and becoming a massage therapist. She loved children and they loved her. She had a kind heart and a contagious smile. She loved the outdoors, camping, swimming and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Sammie will be most remembered for her love for her family and everybody.

She is survived by her mother, Ashlee Arkwood of Onaway; sister, Gabby; grandparents, Marlene, Don, Shelly, JoAnn, and Mike; special friends, Josie, Justin, Ari, Lisiah, Haley, Alyssa, and Seth; along with many  cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Samantha was preceded in death by her grandparents, David Arkwood, Joyce Cook, and Merve Horton.

A private service will take place at a later date.
