Samuel Harger

Samuel Emmett Harger, age 81 of Onaway,
passed away September 10, 2013 at home.

He was born August 17, 1932 in Bluffton, Indiana
to Claude and Josephine (Shutt) Harger.

Sam graduated from High School in Las Vegas where held the title of Golden Gloves
Welterweight Champion. He served in the United States Army Air Corps during
the Korean War.

On August 12, 1957 Sam married Barbara Rita Krajniak in Lansing.
Mr. Harger built custom furniture and cabinetry and enjoyed fishing.

Sam is survived by:
his wife, Barbara;
2 sisters, Dr. Jane Eicher of St. Petersburg, Florida and
Sally Barlowe of Largo, Florida;
1 brother, David Harger of St. Johns, Michigan; and
several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by:
his parents, Claude and Josephine; and
1 sister, Suzanne Rudkin.

Cremation arrangements are in care of the Beck Funeral Home.
