Shirley Bergstrom
1931 - 2024Shirley Ruth Bergstrom age 92 of Cheboygan passed away peacefully on May 30, 2024.
She was born in Detroit on December 31, 1931 to Paul Emmanuel and Esther Anna (Lindman) Johnson.
Shirley married Paul August Bergstrom on April 5, 1952. Born to them were Deborah Jean (Bergstrom) Wiley, Timothy Paul Bergstrom, Rebecca Ruth (Bergstrom) Reynolds married to Douglas Reynolds, Paula Marie (Bergstrom) Grawey married to Patrick Grawey and Lori May (Bergstrom) Leavitt married to Glen Leavitt III, 16 grand children and many great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her sisters Lorraine Johnson, Betty May Johnson and Beverly Poss and her husband Paul August Bergstrom. Also preceding her in death was a granddaughter Ashley Bergstrom.
She has been a lifelong member of the Covenant Church of Cheboygan. Shirley was a very active in the Cheboygan Senior Center.
Memorials may be given to the Covenant Church of Cheboygan.
