Shirley Kelley
1923 - 2017Shirley Jean Kelley age 93 of Rogers City
passed away February 6, 2017 at
Mid-Michigan Center in Alpena,
She was born April 26, 1923 in Rogers City
to Maxwell and Myrtle (Barley) Bellmore
On December 27, 1941 she married Frank Kelley at St. Ignatius Catholic
Church, Shirley loved spending time with her grandchildren and great
grandchildren. She enjoyed playing cards, word puzzles and an occasional
trip to the casino
Mrs. Kelley is survived by:
4 children, Carole (Thomas) Fettig of Petoskey,
Thomas Kelley of Oldsmar, Florida,
Ardeane Kelley and Kristie Kelley both of Rogers City;
6 grandchildren;
8 great grandchildren;
3 sisters-in-law, Delores Blair, Yuldine Bellmore, and Janice Bellmore,
all of Rogers City
She was preceded in death by:
her husband, Frank on January 19, 1997;
2 daughters, Judy and Mary Lynn;
7 brothers, Charles, Lawrence “Babe”, George, Orville, Stanley, Pete, and
Robert;
3 sisters, Charlotte Plowman, Adeline Baker, and June DeCaire.
Friends may visit at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Friday, February 10th,
from 10:00 a.m, until time of her Mass at 11:00 a.m. with
Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.
Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
Memorials may be given to St. Casimir Catholic Church
in memory of Shirley Kelley
