Simone Quaine
1961 - 2015Simone Agnese Quaine age 54 of Bakersfield, California,
formerly of Rogers City, passed away November 18, 2015
in Bakersfield as result of an auto accident.
She was born May 31, 1961 in Rogers City
to Norman and Edna (Smolinski) Quaine.
Simone graduated from Rogers City High School in 1979. She graduated
from Alpena Community College as a Registered Nurse, Simone worked
as a Critical Care Nurse in Marquette before moving to Bakersfield
where she was currently working as a Hospice Nurse. Simone enjoyed
photography and was a talented artist. One of her colored pencil drawings
was featured in the 1978 September-October Issue of The Michigan
Natural Resources Magazine. This drawing is currently in the archives at
the Cranbrook Institute. She loved keeping up with the sports activities
of her nieces and nephews.
Simone is survived by:
7 siblings, Bill Quaine of Rogers City, Peg (Keith) Gordon of Rogers City,
John (Cindy) Quaine of Sterling Heights,
Norm (Suc) Quaine Jr. of Rogers City,
Anne (Doc) Ryan of Rogers City,
Matt (Jackie) Quaine of Rogers City and
Joey Quaine of Rogers City;
special friend, Marry Helen Harris of Bakersfield;
21 nieces and nephews;
15 great nieces and nephews; and
good friend, Bill W.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Norman Sr.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, December 26th
from 12:00 – Noon through time of her memorial service at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of your choice
in memory of Simone Quaine
