Sophie Andrzejewski

Sophie Margaret Andrzejewski age 91 of Posen passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2023.

She was born May 18, 1931 in Krakow Township to John and Victoria (Tybik) Wojtowicz.

Sophie is survived by a daughter, Audrey Andrzejewski of Posen; four grandchildren, Jesse Smolinski, Shaun (Laura) Smolinski, Brandi (Adam) Weaber and Mysti (Rafael) Ubeda; eight great grandchildren, Dustin, Makhenna, Izabella, Ellaure, Jack, Skyelar, Phineas and Mabel Jane; a son-in-law, Kenneth Smolinski and her sweet four-legged friend, Lucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; daughter, Cleo Smolinski; son, Roger (Connie Williams) Andrzejewski; and several brothers and sisters.

On May 4, 1953 she married Michael Andrzejewski at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Posen. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens and then watching everything grow.

Friends may visit at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Friday, April 21^st from 10 a.m. until time of her Mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating. For those wishing to take part in praying the Rosary, the St. Casimir Rosary Sodality will recite the Rosary beginning at 9:45.

Burial will follow at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Breast Cancer Awareness, St. Casimir Catholic Church or Hospice of Michigan in memory of Sophie Andrzejewski.
