Steven Selman

Steven John Selman age 74 of Cheboygan passed away at home on March 23, 2025.

He was born in Detroit to George and Ruth (Pochert) Selman on December 23, 1950. He was a proud Marine, A Vietnam Veteran and the most generous person you ever met.

Steve is survived by his children, Steven Young, Adam (Jessica) Selman, Travis Selman and Michelle Selman; two grandchildren, Logan and Avery; siblings, Beverly Haley, Kathy (Tom) Willis, Barbara Ferguson, Timothy Selman, Julie (Fred) Watson, Karen Dillon, Paul Selman and Lori Selman; two loving aunts, Jean Pochert and Lois Graham as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents, George and Ruth; and a brother, David Selman.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Monday, April 7th from 1:00 p.m. through time of his funeral at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott Distler officiating.

A luncheon will follow in the San Luis Rey Room.

Interment with full military honors will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cheboygan later this spring.
