Steven Skudlarek

Steven Edward Skudlarek age 66 of Posen passed away May 15, 2022 at MyMichigan Health Center in Midland.

He was born July 26, 1955 in Rogers City to Edward and Lucy (Styma) Skudlarek.

On July 24, 1987 he married Rita Bellmore at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Steve enjoyed bowling, watching baseball, visiting, playing cards and going for rides in the country.

Steve is survived by his wife, Rita; one brother, Thomas Skudlarek of Alpena; 5 sisters, Pamela (Stanley) Lewandowski of Posen, Mary (Stephen) Catton of Petoskey, Doris (Paul) Ponik of Posen, Teresa (Ronald) Kowalski of Posen and Valerie (Gordon) Cordes of Hillman; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and one sister in law Dorothy Skudlarek of Tennessee.

He was preceded by his parents, Edward and Lucy; one brother, Michael and a sister, Lucia Kuffel.

A celebration of life will take place at Beck Funeral Home on Friday, June 24th with visiting at 2 p.m. through time of his memorial at 3 p.m. with Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.

Inurnment to follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
