Theodore Beck

1928 - 2022

Theodore Robert Beck age 93 of Rochester Hills passed away June 14, 2022.

He was born September 3, 1928 in Detroit to Theodore and Marion (Updike) Beck.

Ted is survived by his 7 children, 23 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren: Sue (Jen Corsetti) Beck of Allen Park; Ted (Cheryl) Beck of Rogers City, their children, Emily (Forrest) Hurley and Marijane (Kyle) Griffin and their granddaughter, Sadie Hurley; Carol (Tim) Howell of Rochester Hills, their children, Baizley, Maddy and Annie; Christopher “Kip” (Giang) Beck of Lapeer, their children, Kippy, Shaylee, Kelsey, Brant, Manh and Tri and their grandson, Kaiden; Kurt (Helen) Beck of Linden, their children, Jenny (Dominique Chisholm) McCardell, Jessica (Thomas) Hessell, Tony (Jessie) Beck, Sarah Beck and Ryan Beck and their grandchildren, Lucy, Lucky, Olivia, Kaia, Dominique, Sadie, Iris, Molly, Matthew, Anna, Ruth and Joshua; Mary (Adam) Thayer of Northville, their children, Maelyn, Eliza and Gabriel; and Jean (Dennis) Wandrei of Clarkston, their children, Beck, Karl, Denny and Shannon and their grandson, Jacob; many nieces and nephews; as well as his extended Bill W. family.

He was preceded in death by his wife Florence on December 1, 2021, and his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Jack Dumont.

Friends may visit at the Potere-Modetz Funeral Home in Rochester on Sunday, June 26th from 1 p.m. through time of his funeral at 4 p.m. with his grandson Tony Beck officiating.

Interment and military honors will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Monday, June 27th at 10 a.m.

Memorials may be given to Cardinal Hospice, 1097 South Lapeer Road, Suite A, Oxford, Michigan 48371.
