Theodore & Catherine Pardike
1939 - 2019Theodore H. Pardike, 80, of East Aurora, New York,
passed away on March 27, 2019.
Ted was born on February 11, 1939 in Rogers City, MI
to Theodore C. and Mary Pardike.
He was the youngest of nine siblings. In December of 1959, he married his
high school sweetheart, Catherine Rollins Thornley and later received his
B.S. degree from Michigan Tech, They raised one son, Theodore, and one
daughter, Cara. Ted’s strong work ethic and determination took him and
his family out west to California, Washington, and Utah. But eventually
they returned to the east coast, where he retired in New York. Later in
life, he reflected on the things he loved most, camping with his family
and visiting his siblings in Michigan. He was highly committed to provide
all aspects of support for his wife and children. Their well-being meant
everything to him and in his last years, he expressed that his life was
good,
Ted is survived by his two children, Ted (Melissa) and Cara, his
grandchildren, Josh, Theo, Nick, and Zach, great-grandchild, Randy, and
his brother and sister-in-law, Guy and Ann.
Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine, his father, Theodore, his
mother, Mary, his siblings, Harold (Dorothy), Merlin (Birdie Mac),
Norman (Marjorie), Robert (Ella Nora), Marlo (Eleanor), Elva (Wilbert)
Werth, Virginia Srodes, and Rose Mary (Leslie) McDonald.
A graveside funeral service will be held July 20 at 11:00 AM at the
Rogers City Memorial Park Cemetery along with a grave committal for his
wife Catherine Pardike, A luncheon will follow at the Rogers City
Community and Senior Center at noon.

Catherine R Pardike, 78, of East Aurora, New York,
passed away on September 18, 2018.
Cathy was born on September 26 1939 in Rogers City, MI
to Paul and Janet Thornley.
After graduating high school she married her high school sweetheart,
Ted Pardike, and later moved out west where she studied and received a
Masters of Fine Arts degree from the University of Utah. She had two
children, Ted and Cara, before moving back east to New York, Her
dedication to her artwork and the art culture was inspiring, and it was a
passion that she loved to share with everyone, Her work has been shown
in many galleries throughout the US and is included in permanent
collections in Utah and New York. She will be greatly missed by her
family and the art community.
Cathy is survived by her children Ted (Melissa); daughter Cara;
grandchildren Joshua, Theo, Nick, and Zach; great-grandchild Randy;
brother Bill (Ruth); and sister Elizabeth.
She is preceded in death by her parents Paul and Janet, and brother-in-law
Tom.
A graveside committal service will be held July 20 11:00 AM at the
Rogers City Memorial Park Cemetery along with a graveside service for
her husband, Ted Pardike. A luncheon will follow at the Rogers City
Community and Senior Center at noon.
