Theresa Peters

Theresa V. Peters age 69 of Posen
passed away July 23, 2009 at home

She was born March 1, 1940 in Belknap
to Bernard and Anna (Gryka) Taratuta

On June 21, 1958 she married Leo Peters at St. Dominic Catholic Church.

Theresa was employed by Essex International for 8 years, then worked as a care
giver for over 18 years caring for her mother and father. She also owned Peters
Evergreens in Posen. Mrs. Peters was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church and
its Rosary Sodality.

She is survived by:
husband, Leo
6 sons, Bernard (Gaye) of Grayling, William (Roxann) of Alpena,
Robert (Janis) of Grayling, Leo Jr. (Tammy) of Ardmore, OK,
Gregory (Kristen) of Posen, and Theodore (Heather) of Afton
12 grandchildren
2 great grandchildren
2 sisters, Victoria Krawczak and Gertrude Zaborney
4 brothers, Raymond Taratuta, Arnold Taratuta, Elias Taratuta, and
Jonas (Connic) Taratuta
2 sisters in law, Lucy Taratuta and Genevieve Taratuta

She was preceded in death by:
parents, Bernard and Anna,
grandson, Brian,
2 brothers, Edwin and Daniel

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 28th from 2:00 until
8:00 p.m. where the rosary will be recited at 6:30 by the Rosary Sodality followed
by the parish wake service at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. Clarence Smolinski conducting.
Visitation will resume on Wednesday at St. Casimir Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m.
until time of mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating.

Interment will take place in St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery

Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice in memory of Theresa Peters.
