Theresa Swan age 86 of Posen
passed away September 9, 2012 at Orchard Care Home

She was born August 4, 1926 in Posen
to Leon and Constance (Nowaczewski) Purol

Theresa graduated in 1944 from Posen High School as Valedictorian of her class.
On June 16, 1945 she married Aloysius Swan at St. Casimir Catholic Church,

Mrs. Swan was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church, it’s Rosary Sodality, and
a past member of the Michigan Farm Bureau.

She is survived by:
2 daughters; Catherine Swan of Posen, and
Anne (Don) Melzer of Clearwater, Florida;
3 sons; Leon (Judy) of Plymouth, William (Barbara) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and
Stephen (Cynthia) of Posen;
8 grandchildren; James, Jeffrey, Daniel, Tracy, Anthony, Amanda, Rebecca, and
Alexandra;
9 great grandchildren; Megan, Allie, Connor, Ty, Hailey, Kathryn, Trey, Anna Marie,
and Allison;
2 sisters, Eleanora Spisak and Rosie (Wayne) Bruning.

She was preceded in death by:
her husband, Aloysius on February 6, 2005;
6 brothers, Anthony, Louis, Theodore, Dominic, Clarence, and John;
2 sisters, Martha Pieczynski and Frances Smith.

Friends may visit Beck Funeral Home Wednesday, September 12th from 4:00 until
8:00 p.m. where the Rosary Sodality will recite the rosary at 6:30 followed by the
parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. with Sr. Rita Epple conducting.
Visitation will continue at St. Casimir Catholic Church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m.
until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Stan Bereda officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Casimir Catholic Church.
