Thoma Carpenter

Thoma Lee Carpenter age 73 of Alanson passed away September 25, 2021 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.

She was born April 13, 1948 in Muskegon.

Thoma grew up in Cheboygan, she enjoyed working puzzles of all kinds and watching the Voice on television. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Genene (Scott) Fettig of Alanson; grandchildren, Amanda (Mark) Armock, Alyssa (Clint) Wolford, Andrew Radle, Arron Radle, Brooke Fettig, Kyle Lester, Kayla (Chris) Gaffney, Meranda Fettig and Michael Beer; great grandkids, Reese, Rylee, Raeya, Corbin, Tyler, Ethan, Andrew, Gauge, Kashton, Mason, Christopher, Chase, Charlotte, Marquise, Meleah and Mia; and her brother, Adam Morsaw of Alanson.

Thoma was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Carpenter; a daughter, Angela Appleford; her parents, Harry and Fransis Brown and her sister, Nadine Weaver.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
