Thomas Carpenter
1942 - 2022Thomas Len Carpenter age 79 of Levering passed away at home on February 24, 2022.
He was born April 20, 1942 in Flushing to Eugene and Mildred (Morse) Carpenter.
Tom enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1959. On January 7, 1972 he married Donna Sack in Flushing. Later they moved to Levering. Tom was an over the road trucker. He loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; six children, Julie (Roger) Gifford of Flushing, Tommy Simons of Flint, Donald Simons of Flushing, Patrick Carpenter of Ft. Pierce, Florida and Dustin (Darci) Carpenter of Clio;
16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one sister, Phyllis Johnson of Fostoria, Ohio. Tom had a loving heart for children and those in need a positive male role model.
Tom was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Carpenter; parents, Eugene and Mildred; brothers, James, Dick, Dave and Gary and one sister, Signe Cowden
