Thomas Douglas

Thomas L. Douglas age 83 of Presque Isle, Michigan,
passed away unexpectedly on Monday,
December 17, 2018.

He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 3, 1935
to James and June (Dougherty) Douglas.

Thomas enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country
on the USS Phillipine as a Fire Control Tech. He later worked as a sheet
metal worker for Williams & Company. Thomas was known for his
pristine lawn, being a handyman and always willing to help others, He
moved up to Presque Isle, Michigan 15 years ago to be with his brothers
and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of the wildlife and nature, His
children will always remember his infectious smile, love for singing,
yodeling and compassion for others.

Thomas is survived by:
his children, Tami (Pete) Kwilinski, Ken (Kim) Douglas,
Barb (Jay) Palmer, Kitti (Brad) Hart Bechtel,
Steven Douglas;
siblings, John Douglas, James (Maric) Douglas;
11 grandchildren; and
11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by:
his parents;
siblings, Robert Douglas and William Douglas; and
sister-in-law, Carol Douglas.

Interment will take place in the Spring at Presque Isle Township Cemetery.
