Thomas Kaszubowski

Thomas Stanley Kaszubowski age 72 of Posen left this world September 22, 2022 after an extended stay at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.

He was born April 17, 1950 in Alpena to Arnold and Veronica (Ciarkowski) Kaszubowski.

Tom purchased his first farm when he was only 16 years old. He farmed for over 36 years. Along with his love for farming he enjoyed trucking, logging over 3 million miles. Tom was best known for his gift of gab, always bringing you the latest news.

On October 19, 2002 he married the love of his life and “rock”, Marilyn, and gained daughter, Dawn Styma and granddaughters, Chelsea Styma (CK) and Olivia Styma (Peapod). Tom cherished every minute with his granddaughters who regularly brought smiles and laughter to his world.

Tom is survived by the love of his life for 37 years, Marilyn; daughter, Dawn Styma; two granddaughters, Chelsea Styma and Olivia Styma; his loving mother, Veronica Kaszubowski; and his in-laws, Gloria White, Jerry (Linda) Kamysiak, Randy (Jane) Kamysiak, Dan (Diane) Kamysiak, Lil (Howard) Johnson, David (Julie) Kamysiak, Laura (Shaun) Smolinski, Bernadette (Curt) Ilg, Lois (Stephen) Power and Michelle (David) Smith. He is also survived by many friends, fellow farmers and truck drivers (Livewire), but especially his beloved cat, Moochie.

He was preceded in death by his father Arnold, Special Uncle Otto, Sister-in-law Karen Szymanski, Brother-in-law Ron White, Uncle Ron Piaskowski, mother and father-in-law Mayvine and Elmer Kamysiak and many spitzer buddies.

Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home in Rogers City on Sunday, September 25th from 12-Noon through the time of his memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Lunch will follow at the K of C Hall in Posen.

Memorials may be given to Alzheimer’s Association, Great Michigan Chapter, 25200 Telegraph Rd. Ste 100, Southfield, MI 48033, in honor of Tom’s mom, Veronica.
