Vernetta Everett

Vernetta Frances Everett age 94 of Cheboygan passed away peacefully at Linda Margaret’s Retirement Community in Aloha Township on Monday, September 2, 2024.

She was born in Blaze, Kentucky on July 10, 1930 to Ollie and Virgie (Lewis) Sargent.

Vernetta is survived by two children, John (Debra) Everett of Cheboygan and Ellen (Joseph) Massetti of Algonac; four grandchildren, Kara (Ken) Hoganson, Joshua (Maddie) Everett, Tyler (Rachel Blissett) Everett and Tim Massetti; three great grandchildren, Elijah, Adelaide and Caleb.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2003; her parents and all nine of her siblings.

A graveside service will take place at White Chapel Cemetery later this week, the date will be posted when it is set.
